What is a good natural and secluded beach on the east coast?

I’m looking for a nice natural beach with no boardwalks or any kind of commercialism. I want to sit on the beach and do NOTHING. I’ve been to Ocracoke which was beautiful, but from Georgia it’s a 12 hour trip. I’d like to find a nice beach closer. Any ideas?

Is Myrtle Beach on Memorial weekend a good place for couples with children?

We have never been to Myrtle Beach and I’m concerned that Myrtle Beach will be like South Beach Miami on Memorial weekend. South Beach on Memorial weekend is no place for couples or children.

Most affordable beach house rentals during the off-season?

I’d like to rent a beach front cottage or house on either coast for a month or two sometime during October – January. Where is the best place to look for affordable rentals? Doesn’t have to be fancy, just in close proximity to the ocean.

The wedding will be in august, and my fiance has his heart set on getting married in South Carolina on the beach. Just wondering if anyone knows of any beautiful, affordable locations or any other suggestions.

What is the most picture perfect pretty beach town in Southern California?

Name a quaint, picturesque, beautiful beach community in Southern California that has a fairly well educated populace and is relatively crime free. We’ll make the borders any where from the greater San Diego metropolitan area in the south, all the way up to the metropolitan Santa Barbara region in the north. You can pick cities, villages, towns, hamlets, whatever. Just as long as it matches the criteria above. Thanks!

How is myrtle beach for poor unmaterialistic folks?

I have the option this summer of living in Myrtle Beach, and it sounds pretty fun being in a lively enviornment and being close to cities like DC and boston (I live in the midwest) but from what I’ve heard it kind of seems like a playground for rich folks. Is there much to do for a girl who isn’t into shoes, amusement parks, or spending $7 a beer?

Where is the better place to go for a senior trip? Myrtle Beach or Daytona Beach?

My friends and I are planning a senior trip the first 11 days of June. Where is a teenager going to have the most fun? Which is nicer? My friends prefer Myrtle because they think everyone goes there and we want to meet people. They don’t think anyone goes to Daytona. I prefer Daytona because I think it offers more things to do when not at the beach, and the beach is nicer. Can someone give me their opinion?

What are some hotels to stay at on the beach in Hilton head island, south carolina?

A few of my friends are planning on going to hilton head island. Only problem Is finding a hotel with a check in age under 21 on the beach or really close to the beach in walking distance. Any help would be great. Thanks!
