What’s the nicest and most relaxing place to stay on Waikiki beach?

Looking to visit Oahu and see a few friends but reading a lot of bad hotel & resort reviews for all of Waikiki beach. Any suggestions?

How do you get to that residential beach near diamond head?

I remember going to a beach near or in Diamond head where you drive through a residential area, and along these big homes, there is like this little alley that leads to a quite and calm beach in the back of the homes. The alley is soo small you can almost past it if you dont pay too much attention. Does anyone know how to get there, its been so long….

Can we drink on the beach on Honululu without getting cited by the police?

I’m graduating high school this June. And my friends and I are planning to go to Honolulu for a week for our senior trip. My concern is, how strict are the cops there? We definitely will be drinking and partying, and some of us, but not all have fake IDs. Will we be able to drink on the beach with no problem? Maybe some other places?

What beach in Maui is good for beginner bodysurfing?

My hubby and I will be going to Maui in the near future and we want to try bodysurfing (boogie boarding). We are not super strong swimmers and are worried a bit if we will be ok (we’ve only seen the ocean once when we were both kids). Is there a good beach for beginners?

Which hotels are affordable and close to the beach in Oahu?

I am planning a March vacation to Hawaii. I have stayed at the Outrigger before and loved it, but it is not in the budget. Can anyone tell me about their experience at another hotel that may be more affordable? The must haves are that it is within walking distance to the beach and the marketplace. Thanks!

What is the best beach to take children to in Hawaii?

We are planning a trip to Hawaii soon, we aren’t sure which island or beach to go to. We are a family with a toddler and really aren’t interested in going to a party area, we just want a family area that has resteraunts and family entertainment nearby. What is the best area for famalies who are visiting Hawaii, and which island would be best.
