What do I need to know about taking my dog to the beach?
My family wants to bring our Golden to the beach. Both the house and beach are dog friendly. I am concerned about any health issues (someone mentioned sand fleas), hot sand on his paws, general hygiene (I know to scoop!), tips on keeping him cool & hydrated, swimming in the ocean and whatever else I might need to know to make this a good family trip for us and our dog.
