How to keep a 3 month happy at the beach?

6
I was just wondering if anyone else has taken their 3 month old to the beach. My son is very layed back and is pretty much happy anywhere. It’s just that we’re going to the beach next weekend for 3 days and I was just wondering when we’re on the beach what all should I bring and how can I make sure he’s happy and not too uncomfortable? Do I need to feed him more often when it’s hot outside?

I took my son to Disney World when he was 6 months old – BIG MISTAKE. The beach was fine. Of course, make sure you keep him under an embrella most of the time with sunscreen and the obvious. Also have cold water mixed with juice (or plain water, whatever you give him). He’ll be fine. Have fun!

Make sure he has plenty of shade!!! Consider a small tent. Try to keep him out of the sand as much as possible, because it can irritate their skin. You don’t need to feed him more often unless he asks for it.

you could get a beach tent they are only small so don’t take alot to carry but with that you could put him out of the sun and take some of his toys for him to play with, you may also find that you can feed him in there.

I live next to the beach and I take my 3 month old there all the time.
1) take a beach towel for him to help prevent sand getting on him ( which is going to happen anyway)
2) buy a florr fun mat. The baby lays on this which is placed on top of the beach towel and should be entertanied.
3) You need a beach umbrella and sun screen cause they will break out in a nasty rash with too much sun
4) Resist the urge to the baby up all day else you wont enjoy yourself.
ENJOY!

You should keep him under umbrella all the time. Babies getting sun burnt is very bad. Be sure to bring his sippy cup and have lots of water! Also bring baby food or whatever he eats! Also you might want to buy a smal chair for him to sit in because sometimes the sand gets very hott. WEll thats about it!!!
