How much would it cost to buy a beach house?
am thinking about buying land on the gulf coast in texas near the beach. I don’t know if it would be more cost effective to buy land with a house already on it and make changes later or to buy a lot and build what we want. I don’t want anything fancy. Just a small, wooden beach house for weekends. Any idea what it would cost to do something like this?

you probably can find some good deals in forclosures ask a realtor about them but the normal is from 300k and up depending if you want on the beach or near a body of water like a lake. On the beach it may be better if you bought a condo then you enjoy all the benefits without having to mow a lawn or weed wack. XD
