What is an affordable but nice beach in the Georgia area?
My boyfriend and I want to plan a week-long(ish) trip to the beach this summer within driving distance of our home in Georgia. We are already familiar with most beaches in Georgia and were looking at places nearby in South Carolina/Florida/etc.
Does anyone know of a relatively affordable yet nice (not trashy) beach in the area we’re looking? We’re college students so money is an issue. We definitely do not want to go to Myrtle Beach in SC or Panama City Beach in FL because they have gone downhill over the years.
