What is a cheap beach hotel/condo/resort on a nice beach in Alabama?
I am looking for a hotel or condo or resort on a nice beach in Alabama. I have never been to Alabama but heard there are some wonderful beaches around gulf shores and orange beach. I am looking to pay $80 a night or less and would like to be able to walk to the beach easily. I just need 1 bed for 2 people. We are planning on going Aug 26th-29th.
Anyone ever stay in one such as the one I am describing?

I live close to that area, and visit often. It is indeed very beautiful. There isn’t as much to do (as far as activities, restaurants, etc.) as other beach areas (Destin, PCB, etc.) but it’s still nice and you’ll find plenty to do.
There’s only 1 place I could find that is available for the dates you mentioned within the budget you specified:
Country Hearth Inn (Gulf Shores)

Not located directly on the beach, but close. Read the reviews – very negative….
There’s a La Quinta in Gulf Shores that’s a bit more per night – $103/nt:

And Beachside Resort Hotel is $119/nt (25% off special):

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money.
