Allan Beach Resort vs. Alberta Beach; What is the best beach in Edmonton? Any others in Edmonton to recommend?
Anyone been to either/both of these? Which would you say is a better beach?
Any other beaches within driving distance of Edmonton that you would recommend?
Well, the only thing is that I want to make this almost daily, rather than a rare trip once in awhile. Both Allan Beach and Alberta Beach are far enough, so an hour and a half drive is unlikely.
But I’ll keep it in mind if I ever do go in that direction. Thanks for the answer!

Actually, if you can go a little further, go to Sylvan Lake. It’s a nice resort beach, but it is pretty busy. But it’s beautiful and well worth a trip! It’s only about 1.5 hours away (about the same driving distance as Red Deer so great for a day trip).

Allen Beach IS FANTASTIC! Also I for camping the Lindbrook star gazer camp ground is great!
