If there’s a sea near that beach and he’s not afraid to swim, you’ll probably end up sprayed with water, but I guess it’s still ok ;)

Depends on the beach and the dog. You shouldn’t let your dog harrass people.

Depends where you are. I’m on the Oregon Coast and bring my dogs all the time. Just have to watch for undertow and sneaker waves.

Yes! Dogs like retrievers love the water. My beagle hates the water, but he likes to go back in the dune.

Just make sure you pick up the ****….that’s how dogs get banned from beaches.

of course it is, but, there is always some selfish spoil sport around to whine about it, if they weren’t whining about that it would be something else. So don’t ask me why I am whining about the whiners, Waaaaaaaaahhhhhh LOL

Check to make sure the beach allows dogs. Also, if your dog has a tendency to bark at strangers, jump on people, lick people, etc. it might annoy some of the other people there.

However, if you dog is well trained and the beach okays pets, I see no problem in it. (:

As long as your dog isn’t the kind that likes to eat people! :)
And as long as you clean up the pooh.
My dog loves the beach as much as I do, and just barks and chases the waves as they roll back to the ocean.

Have a fun summer~

Yes, of course. Just make sure it doesn’t get away. You have to make sure. How old is your dog? Don’t bring a puppy.

It depends on the beach, and where you live. I know in Southern California there are only a couple beaches that permit dogs. Ask around or search the name of your beach to see if bringing a dog is permited. Make sure your dogs likes it too, though!

Check with the beach you want to go to… LOTS of them do NOT allow dogs! Also be prepared for fleas! At least where I was raised (So. CA)…. we always were fighting the dang fleas there!

SURE! – So long as your 4-leg OBEYS your commands and leaves everyone else on the beach alone.

If you ask for HEALTH issues (any possible concerns for your 4-leg) be certain that the beach has no sharp objects (broken glass or sharp metal objects) that could injure your 4-legger.

Check your local authorities…Dogs are not allowed at certain times in the beach…According to my town…
So, check with the city police

Yes. I have a 26 pound cocker spaniel and he loves the beach. I live in Florida too. Not all beaches allow dogs, so check first. My dog does not go in the water, but he loves to chase the seagulls. Watch out for sand spurs that are hard to get out of fur.

Hey melmel

the beach on the certain island on which i live on allows dogs, and all the dogs LOVE IT! Trixie was sooo hapy at the beach (i think it was her first time when we took her) that she ran so fast and she was like halfway down the beach that i had to run down there to get her lol… bit exhausting

If they say they allow dogs in the beach….

If its not dangerous dog.
